Branden Koch: The Bald Ego
4/7/2017- 5/14/2017

A Leader Is Not An Eagle

a leader is not an eagle, we'd all be dead
Crayola issues ultimate set of colors so I turn to the birds
There is an eagle we worship that was fucked by a Cuisinart
so
this outpouring is unusual for me but not so with a flood of rage and dread and compassion
We engineers of the present tense
two packaging tape eyes, brain a double candelabra, ears submerged there a double thump
protests
We bathers
We carriers
dump false eyes completely
Diver is in the forest and at sun's decent
migrate raw nerves on fire, nurture them
If it's efficiency you're looking for, then no
the bald ego and other fantasies.
